Roly Poly!!

Trae rolled over from his back to tummy for the first time for Luis & I tonight :)!!!

I finally took a video of it a couple days later, enjoy!!!

Trae is 2 months old!!

Trae had his 2 month appointment today which exciting to find out how big he is getting but a bummer because he has to get shots. I am sure it is no surprise that Trae is off the chart and is the average size of a 5 month old. He was 16 lbs. 4 oz. Wow!!! Don't worry he isn't obese - I asked :o)~ she said to just keep on doing what I am doing and since he is in the 97th percentile for height that he is just a little on the heavier side and looks great.

He's Outta Here!!!

Well we finally decided to move Trae out of our room in the bassinet (that he hated) into his crib. We assumed he would hate that too. Boy were we wrong, if only we could have figured that out sooner. We are able to just put him in the crib after he eats at dinner time and he goes right to sleep and just wakes up one time to eat and goes right back to bed until the morning. Hallelujah!!!

Trae - 2 Weeks Old!!

We just had Trae's 2 week Dr. appointment he is already up to 10 pounds I can't believe it!! He has also grown a 1/4 of an inch. Other than that nothing new to report. The Dr. said "he is perfect", what more could we ask for?

Trae James Hernandez was born via C-Section at 8:53 am on Thursday December 17, 2009. He weighed 9 lbs. 6 oz. and was 21 1/2 inches long.

More Jace Funnies!!

Jace was getting ready to take his bath and I was about to put him in the bath tub and I could smell that he had farted. I asked him if he had and he said "no it's just wind". I started to crack up. I guess because it was a silent one it didn't count!!

I was getting ready for work sitting in front of the mirror doing my hair. Jace was in the bath tub playing when Luis came up to me and gave me a kiss on the neck and Jace shouted at him "Stop Lover!!!"

Luis is really trying to freshen up on his Spanish and in doing so is teaching Jace a lot of words. Jace will look around and ask Luis what all kinds of different things are in Spanish. We were sitting at the dinner table and Jace pointed at this decorative tin hanging on our kitchen wall and asked Luis how you say that in Spanish. Luis said he didn't know so in response Jace said it was a "liqour" apparently he corrects Luis' Spanish all the time with his own Spanish version.
